Plenty of deck space with a good size Jacuzzi, Basement and garage are closed up with our personal items and vehicles. Drive way is 20' wide and long which also circles around. In case you have runners in the group, the circle drive is 1/8th mile long and the drive into the land is impressive to begin with. We have a college style Glass Back Board basketball hoop set up. The TV is a Samsung 60" in the Living room with a large fire place. The Master Bedroom has a very nice stand up shower and another nice TV set up. The other rooms have TVs but they are not set up for cable. We rent another home 80 yards away with a swimming pool between the homes, but we started renting that home out 3 years prior so they have dibs on pool. We've been fortunate to have some wonderful people stay in our other two spaces, so I'm hoping people are cool enough to share it. The home is located just 5 minutes from Sunset Marina and Cove Creek with a neighborhood hiking trail to walk to the beautiful waters edge.

Situated approx. 100 yards from water on 5 acres at the end of a road. Very private. Hike to the lake with no one around first thing in the morning with not a soul in site, but only 1.3 miles to the highway and 10 miles to town. 2 miles to boat dock, plenty of land to enjoy. Trails to the lake for a ATV or a horse if you bring yours. The new swimming pool will be complete before April 2015 unless unforeseen circumstances show up. A new pool table is usable in the basement basement has couches and walk out deck to back yard, along with two queen beds in one room and a complete bathroom. I recently added a fire pit down by the lake and left four chairs. Dishes, silverware, bowls, coffee maker and cups, cooking pots and pans, blender, Crock pot, gas grill. Master Bedroom has King bed and Master bath, other two bedrooms on second floor are queen beds with bathroom between. All beds are new, Purchased 2/26/2014. Very clean and recently Painted. Screened in Deck on back of house facing Lake is 8' x 35'. Deck on front(8' x 35') and side and outside of finished basement(35' x 26' Deck) which faces lake. Small fire Place inside. The county allows sale of Alcohol. Sunset Marina Cooks up a great steak and The River Grill serves up some good dinner and The Bobcat is good for breakfast. There are other eateries in Brydstown and is a 10 min drive from cabin. For those that like to eat very well, I recommend Craw Daddies in Cookeville and there is a very good Mexican eatery in Livingston, TN next to Food Lion. The Marathon station has all the lures anyone could want if you plan to fish and need a few items. Live bait can be found at the Kwik Stop or at Sunset Marina where one could use for boat ramp, 5$. Also, the state park, adjacent to Sunset Marina, has a good boat ramp for 4$, State Park(2 Miles away) also has a beach. There are several Marinas around the lake and Dale Hollow is approx. 61 miles long with several fingers of water. We have WIFI, TV in the Living Room and Master Bedroom has a DVD player. "The SunCatcher" consists of four floors and three covered decks. It has four bedrooms and four full baths. There are two living rooms and two TV's. Each floor is decorated in a different theme. On the lower level there is a Foosball table, wet bar and dining table. It is only minutes to Sunset Marina where you can launch your boat, enjoy a meal at Pier One restaurant, shop or feed the ducks. If you do not want to go out on the water for the day you can swim at the beach at Obey River Campgrounds and Beach. If you want to hike you can hike to the water from our home taking Plankyard Rd. which will take you to primitive camping as well as a boat launch. The mountain view is breathtaking and when the sun sets the lights from the marina shimmer on the lake. The night view is extraordinarily beautiful. The home will rent to a couple or will sleep a maximum of 10 persons comfortably. FYI: The home is featured in the background of Luke Bryan's Video Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset. Luke's director, Michael Monaco rented the house and actually met a girl while staying and they fell in love there. They are now married and have a baby. He tells me they fell in love at our home. Michael brought Luke to our location to film the video for the song after his stay because it was very special to him. That is why our house is featured in the background of the video. Also, the name of the song transpired from my slogan, "Watch the Sunset Rise Over Sunset Marina". The song title: Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset! Another really fun thing is that the house has also been on TV. The home was featured on HGTV's "My Lottery Dream Home" in 2018. They renamed the house for the show "Bridgewater Terrace." There is hardwood throughout the main floor and loft area. When you enter the property on the main floor, the Master Bedroom is on the right and contains a full size bed with dresser and closet. Across the hall is the 1 Full Bath that has a tiled stand-up shower and sink area with commode. The kitchen area is straight ahead and opens to the living room area, which contains a table for 4, a TV and VCR/DVD player. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee-maker. It also contains dishes, as well as utensils and pots and pans for your stay. There is also barstool seating at the counter. Step outside the living room area onto a large deck with a grill and seating area overlooking the lake (during summer months the view is more limited) and a beautiful wooded landscape. Go from the main floor, up the stairs to the loft area. This area is perfect for children or other visiting guests. It contains 2 bunk beds, each with a full size bed on bottom and twin bed on top. The property contains a spiral staircase leading to one more bedroom downstairs and the second full bath. This last bedroom is a full size bed and is great for privacy and quiet away from other guests. This downstairs area of the house also includes the washer and dryer and large storage area for your belongings during your stay. There is ample parking in front of the house and space to park a boat trailer. Dale Hollow Marina is just right down the street, about 1/4 mile. Dale Hollow Marina has just recently undergone renovations. You may rent pontoon boats there if you do not have your own. There is also a restaurant there. The street is usually quiet and the people of Celina are VERY friendly. There is a Dollar General close as well as a small grocery store. Cedar Ridge is convenitely located between ( within 4 miles) Star Point Marina and Eagle Cove Marina or an approximate 15 minute drive to Sunset Marina. Take advantage of all that the surrounding area has to offer: Dale Hollow Lake, visit the Cordell Hull Birthplace Museum and Bunkum Cave or one of the many State Parks located close by. If you enjoy antiquing, the town of Livingston is about a 25 minute drive and has several shops right in the town square. If you are in to wine, the oldest winery in TN is located in Jamestown, about a 30-40 drive down 127. The wine is very good and the gift shop is adorable. There are many things to enjoy around the Byrdstown area. Visit the Chamber of Commerce website for listings and locations. Cookeville is approximately a 45 minute drive right down Rt. 111. It has many shoppng opportunities, boutiques in the historic area as well as big box stores located around the city. If you like great dining, Crawdaddy's, our favorite, is a wonderful restaurant that is well worth the drive. You can't beat the location at the Redwood Retreat! Less than 3 minutes to Sunset Marina, this gorgeous lakehouse is located above the Obey River Campground, which is adjacent to Sunset Marina. Close to restaurants, grocery store, and gas stations. Did I mention the views? Views galore from every level in the house. With almost 4,000 sq. feet that can accommodate up to 13 people comfortably, it has plenty of places to gather after a day at the lake, but also having privacy in your own living areas. There is also 1,700 sq. feet of decking areas to enjoy the view. Upon entering the home you will see the gorgeous views through our expansive windows, soaring 25 foot ceiling, as well as a 20 ft. stacked stone fireplace for those chilly summer nights. The great room has plenty of seating, with an open floor plan with a fabulous fully-equipped kitchen seating 12. Watch a movie or cook a great dinner. The master bedroom is on the main floor with a master bath and television. The laundry is also on the main level. All linens and towels, as well as paper goods are included. This home is equipped with WiFi and Directv. Did I mention that we also have a screened-in porch area off the kitchen that comes with an outdoor fireplace and outdoor t.v. ? This is a great place to play a game of cards, board game or just relax and check out the views. If you have some in your group that doesn't like stairs, this level is for them. Our loft area is a great place to sit and read a book or check out the fabulous views. This top level has two large bedrooms, with the largest bedroom complete with a t.v. and gaming system. This level has a full bath. The lower level has 9 1/2 ft. ceilings and is its own living area complete with two bedrooms, bathroom and a great recreational area. The main area has comfortable seating to check out a movie including a dvd player and lots of dvds, as well as a pool table. The best thing about the lower level is that it has its own full kitchen, complete with a fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Plenty of places to gather but separation at the same time. The lower level has great views of the lake and has its own deck areas as well, which come with seating and a hot tub! Not only is the house wonderful, but so is the courtyard. Complete with a great firepit! It has plenty of seating, chairs, and even a table for outdoor dining. The gas grill is great for bbqs and some corn hole after a day at the lake. This area has amazing views. We have a 1 car attached garage has a ping pong table. Parking is not allowed in the garage. We have two concrete driveways for plenty of parking. Please keep in mind that the house is situated next to a steep, gravel road. Vehicles travel the road all the time, but boat owners must park their boats and trailers at the marina or rent a temporary slip at the marina. You can now book boat slips in advance by phone at Sunset Marina. *Please note that our 2 outdoor umbrellas are put in storage beginning Nov. 1st and are not put back out until Memorial Weekend. ****We are on "week only" rentals during June, July, and August. NO smoking in the house or on the decks, only outside in the courtyard area. Two outside doors are equipped with Skybells. We also have three outdoor security cameras. They are located on our driveways and outer yard perimeters. There are stairs in the home and we also have two very high decks on the outside of the property.
